In Iron Helm, a solo dungeon crawler, you take on the role of an adventurous hero who strives for one final triumph before retiring from the fighting.
The gameplay of "Iron Helm" is based on a "draw two, choose one" mechanic. The player draws two cards from the dungeon deck, reveals one of them and decides whether to accept the challenge of the revealed card or to discover the secret of the hidden map explored.
At the beginning of the game, each player receives a number of coins that they can use to equip themselves with equipment for the upcoming adventure. In the depths of the dungeon, players encounter dangerous enemies, discover hidden treasures, activate quest cards and ultimately face the mighty dungeon boss.
As you travel through the dungeon, you will acquire new skills and strengthen your character by purchasing equipment. You must manage your health and energy wisely to avoid risks such as poisoning or getting lost in the labyrinth.
"Iron Helm" builds on the basic principle of our other solo game "Desolate", but expands it with numerous new aspects. Each adventure offers a unique experience with a variety of characters, items, enemies and treasures. With each dungeon card drawn, the player is faced with challenging decisions.
Victory in Iron Helm is achieved by unlocking the dungeon boss by solving a certain number of quest cards and then defeating him. Your success in the game is measured by points based on various achievements that determine how glorious your retirement will be.
